Mostar, a city renowned for its cultural and religious variety and sadly violent history. Place where east meets the west.Walk the iconic Mostar bridge, which gave city its name, (“most” is Croatian for “bridge”) and still separates the Muslim and Christian sides of town. Take a look of small bridge „Kriva ćuprija“, the Koski Mehmed Paša Mosque, buy souvenirs at the famous Bazar, and enjoy Bosnian delicacy called ćevapi for lunch.

Počitelj (“Počivati” – Croatian ”to rest in peace”), is stunningly nested above Neretva river. Half hour long walk will reveal you stories of town’s development and strategic importance during its history and take you to most important sites such as Hajji Alija Mosque, Clock Tower and Gavrankapetanovic tower. Town that once guarded the northern border of the Dubrovnik Republic has 5 km long walls. Since the time of the Roman Empire, Ston has possessed one of the most important salt factories in the Mediterranean. In the ancient times the inhabitants build stone walls all around their town and all the way to the neighboring village, Mali Ston, to protect it. Town of Ston was one of the first urban planned towns in medieval Europe.
Richard O: „We used Ivo’s Taxi Dubrovnik service 3 times this July.
We organised a transfer from Vela Luka, Korcula to Dubrovnik with a stop in Ston on the way. We received confirmations by email and txt the week before departure. Our driver Bobo arrived exactly on time , was very friendly and we had a very enjoyable trip to Dubrovnik.
We also booked a day trip to Montenegro. This was really enjoyable. Bobo is a great driver and also a great tour guide – full of information and also very flexible altering the day to suit our needs.
Finally we did transfer to airport for departure from Split.
On all occasions communication was great and trips confirmed, cars excellent and drivers always on time. So overall service excellent.
We would definitely use Ivo and his team again.“ Read more
