Town that once guarded the northern border of the Dubrovnik Republic has 5 km long walls. Since the time of the Roman Empire, Ston has possessed one of the most important salt factories in the Mediterranean. In the ancient times the inhabitants build stone walls all around their town and all the way to the neighboring village, Mali Ston, to protect it. Town of Ston was one of the first urban planned towns in medieval Europe.
Sean H: „My wife and I were looking for an excursion to Split from Dubrovnik for 9/1/2016 and were able to book with this company about 1 week prior.
Many thanks to Ivo for setting up the excursion for us and arranging pick up at our hotel at the hour we selected.
Our driver Braco arrived on time and was very friendly, informative and professional.
We thoroughly enjoyed our day touring through Croatia in the Mercedes E-class wagon that included a WiFi hotspot so we could keep in touch with family while on the road.
My wife's family is from Croatia and was enjoying the traditional Croatian music Braco had on during the trip, At the end of the day my wife asked where she could buy the CD and Braco said that he had made it himself but she could have it and promptly ejected it and gave it to her.
Thank you Braco, you made her day.
Highly recommend“ Read more
Počitelj (“Počivati” – Croatian ”to rest in peace”), is stunningly nested above Neretva river. Half hour long walk will reveal you stories of town’s development and strategic importance during its history and take you to most important sites such as Hajji Alija Mosque, Clock Tower and Gavrankapetanovic tower. Fortified town Počitelj is one of the very few urban entities in Bosnia and Herzegovina preserved in their integrity to the present times.
Mostar, a city renowned for its cultural and religious variety and sadly violent history. Place where east meets the west. Walk the iconic Mostar bridge, which gave city its name, (“most” is Croatian for “bridge”) and still separates the Muslim and Christian sides of town. Take a look of small bridge „Kriva ćuprija“, the Koski Mehmed Paša Mosque, buy souvenirs at the famous Bazar, and enjoy Bosnian delicacy called ćevapi for lunch.
Spiritual and religious center and one of the most famous pilgrim places in the Catholic world. Thousands of pilgrims have visited the town of Međugorje every year since 1981, when it is said the Virgin Mary first appeared to some children on Apparition Hill. In Međugorje we will spend 2 hours and visit Mt. Križevac, Apparition Hill and St. Jacob church.
Stanely F: „Medjugorje is a very spiritual and special place that we have heard about for years and finally had a chance to go. It met all our expectations and more! Climbing Apparition Hill and feeling the presence of our Blessed Mother Mary can not be described in words. It was the highlight of my wife and mine 3 week vacation around the Mediterranean.“ Read more
